Polyurethane Coating

Polyurethane coatings are fantastic for protecting against stains, damage, chemicals and solvents, oils and wear. It is available in a multitude of colours which is advantageous when demarcation of different flooring spaces are required.

More resistant to scratching than Epoxy coating as it absorbs greater impact due to its elasticity which makes it the coating of choice for the food industry. It behaves slightly differently than epoxy when exposed to chemicals and solvents and can tolerate a greater temperature swings and handles humidity well. It also has great UV stability which traverses the issue of colour changes when subjected to focused sunlight exposure.

Polyurethane can also be mixed with aggregates to provide a non-slip surface if and when the situation requires.
